Understanding player stats

Updated Apr 29, 2026 · 2 min read

Elevate keeps the math honest. Every stat on a player or goalie page is built from the events you logged during games, with no estimates or projections. Player profiles are a PRO feature.

Where to find player stats

Player stats live in two places. The home dashboard shows your top five skaters across Points, Goals, and Shots, and the top goalies by GAA, SV%, Shots, and Wins. Tap any of those tabs to switch the view.

For the full picture, head to Analyze. Roster Analysis lists your entire skater group with a tap to switch between Points, Goals, and Shots leaderboards. Goalies have their own section below. Tap any player or goalie row to open their full profile.

Skater stats explained

A skater profile shows five season totals at the top:

  • G - goals scored
  • A - assists (primary and secondary)
  • P - points (goals plus assists)
  • SOG - shots on goal (goals plus shots that hit the net but didn't score)
  • GP - games played

Below that, the Seasons table breaks down totals by season if the player has played across multiple seasons.

The Ice Surface section shows a shot map of every shot location across all the games this player has played in. Different markers represent goals, shots on net, missed shots, and blocked shots.

Goalie stats explained

A goalie profile shows six season totals:

  • GP - games played
  • W - wins
  • SA - shots against
  • GA - goals against
  • SV% - save percentage (saves divided by shots against)
  • GAA - goals against average (goals against per game)

Below that, the Games list breaks down every game the goalie played, showing the result (W, L, T), the final score, and per-game SA, GA, and SV%.
